BrothaNature

Small-batch herbal and mushroom remedies, plus the field tools I use every season: what's fruiting, what's flowering, and what the bees need right now where you live.

Foraging calendar

Mushrooms in season

Pick your area and month to see what typically fruits. Windows shift with rain, temperature and elevation, so treat these as a starting point for your walks.

Never eat a wild mushroom on a calendar or photo ID alone. Confirm every find in hand with spore print, habitat and features, ideally with an experienced local identifier. Cook wild mushrooms thoroughly and try a small amount first.

Herbs to harvest

Harvest windows for common medicinal plants, with the part to gather. Take no more than a third of a stand, and leave at-risk plants for the next forager.

Windows are approximate for the area chosen. Spring plants come earlier in warm regions and fall harvests run later. Avoid roadsides, sprayed lawns and industrial ground.

Beehive calendar & log

What your colonies need this month in your climate, what's blooming for them, and a place to log every inspection.

Mite load: under 2% is fine, 2–3% watch closely, over 3% plan treatment. Logs are saved to BrothaNature under your hive code (no name or email needed), so you can open them on any device. Your area and inspection details may be used, without personal information, to build regional beekeeping records.

Rings move from digestion at the pupil out to elimination at the skin. Sectors follow the clock face.

Iridology is a traditional assessment practice and is not a medical diagnostic test. Use it as one piece of a full intake, and refer out for anything that needs medical attention. Photos stay on your device.

    About

Student of life, keeper of the woods

I'm a forager, nature lover and certified mushroom expert working toward my Naturopathic Doctor degree. Most of what I make starts on a walk: a flush of turkey tail on a fallen oak, a nettle patch along the creek, goldenrod humming with bees.

BrothaNature is where those walks become remedies, and where I share the calendars and notes I keep so you can learn your own land season by season.
